Bayside Palau B&B: While staying at the inn, guests are welcomed to launch a kayak (or paddleboard) from our dock to explore the abundant reefs in Nikko Bay

Nikko Bay: Behind our Inn

As part of the Rock Islands Southern Lagoon Site on the World Heritage List, this protected bay is most surely a paddler’s paradise. The shear vertical limestone walls of Nikko Bay have sheltered ancient corals from wind and waves for centuries resulting in a phenomenal diversity of corals and abundance of exotic sea creatures. Home to a variety of limestone caves, marine tunnels and natural archways, Nikko Bay is perfect for exploring.

The UNESCO Rock Islands Southern Lagoon, as outlined on this map, is essentially in the backyard of Bayside Palau B&B.UNESCO Rock Islands Southern Lagoon map

For the more adventurous — and sure-footed visitor — there are numerous rock islands to explore with WWII ruins, ancient docks, swimming holes and caves and caverns. And, Bayside Palau Bed & Breakfast is in the middle of it all!
